Okay, the first question is really not important, but I feel the need to ask it.
Adam and Eve; did they have belley buttons?
And the important one; just a concept posed to me by a close and important friend of mine. Did God create people other then Adam and Eve? The bible doesn't say that He didn't. I just wanted to ask.

as far as belly buttons go- i would imangie they didn't.
God creates all of us in our mother's wombs. but there is no scripture that would support God creating other people the way that he created adam and eve.

Good questions but almost unanswerable....because they are not mentioned in the Bible!
My conjecture is the same as JMs, because they were not born from a womb they probably didn't have belly buttons as to other created people, we know that other people existed (because in Genesis it talks about the women that Cain and Seth married) it just doesn't say where they came from. Scripture only describes the creation of Adam and Eve.
Not really an answer I know but for being answerable it's on a par with a chicken and an egg..... (which as we all know was the chicken!)

hehe, I've read that this is called,"The Great Belly-Button Controversy"
I agree with Jm and SharonMarie........It is hard to speak dogmatically about things that aren't in the bible. We can merely speculate.

Which is why I ask. I just wanted to hear someone else's opinion.

Blessings All
I believe that there is a main focus in much of the Bible that one needs to adhere to. This is so one does not get lost on a rabbit trail along the way. That narrow path is all important. Yet to seek and question and find understanding is also important in the process of maturing in Christ Jesus.
I never thought about the belly button thing. I have wondered about other folks being around during the time of Adam and Eve, but then I begin to get perplexed and start to "tweak out" about the whole "supernatural God" thing and then I have to take a nap.
There are alot of questions that I will ask when I am in heaven, but then again maybe by then it will not matter.
God Bless

i think they probably didn't have belly buttons. and the Bible doesn't say there were other people. then that would mean that cain or seth would have to inter marry with their sister

remember at that time there were no "rules" against marring family. plus it is very liklt that adam and eve had a ver large family.
