	I just want to share a couple of wonderful things that have been happening. starters- i'm not sure if i shared much about my brother. i have a brother in the air force. for most of this war he has not been in any danger, so i haven't shared much about him being there. however, he just spent time in Afghanistan not directly in danger, but not really safe. i found out today he was almost shot and a humv (i don't know the spelling on that) he was in was blown up. but by God's grace he was safe. he was also shot at. today i found out he is now home with his wife and 2 sons. next tomorrow (sept 19) dan and i celebrate 16 years of marriage. we are being given a gift of going to a movie just him and i. we haven't been out on a date in such a long time.
