First Day In Rio

Well today marks my first day in Brazil, Rio to be specific. I left the house yesterday at 2:00 in the afternoon, flew to Atlanta and then straight to Rio. 18 hours of transit, much shorter than the 30+ hours I am use to when I was working out of Malaysia.

I am excited and feel blessed to have the chance to see another part of the world and to meet new fresh faces. I am praying that once again I use this move not simply as a means to a pay check but to carry the light of the Lord to another rig.

In other news, my mom had to go to the hospital today to have her heart looked at. They had to put another stint on her left side, she is having to spend the night in the hospital, may God bring swift and peaceful healing to her.

All is good at home tonight, talked to the wife. They are doing good no major issues since I left home which is always a blessing. May God keep my house in order while I am away.

Tonight I began studying Genesis again, starting with Genesis 1:1
I also reviewed my studies on Psalm 1
I prayed that God would convict me of these teachings.
