Default Re: My Credit...

One thing to remember, never using a credit card, whether department store or regular credit cards, or never borrowing money from a bank, can actually hurt you. Similar to your reputation. How do people know they can trust you, if you never prove yourself. It seems silly, but you are better off borrowing small amounts of money from the bank and then pay it back, because this will build up your credit. One other thing is to check your credit to make sure no one else has opened any credit accounts in your name. I am not trying to scare you, but help you, we live in a sick world where people feel like the world owes them everything and they will stick-it to anyone they can. Like others have mentioned, getting a store credit card is pretty easy in this day and age, so get a couple of those, walmart is a good, because it is one that can be used other places too. As long as you pay it off by the due date, there is no interest, this way you are building your credit.
