I get declined... i think is because of my bad credit... well maybe not bad credit but the thing is that I dont have credit at all... i have never owned a credit card before or anything... however they have told me that I need to check my credit report... anyone has an idea on how to do that? |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | if you have never had a credit card you may not have any credit at all. there is a place- http://freecredit.com in which you can check your credit. they do want you to sign up for something. have you tried getting like a walmart credit card, or maybe target. store cards are often easier to get. |

All you have to do is send a copy of the letter declining you credit. This is usually Transunion, Equifax, and Experian. Here is another link that might be helpful......... http://www.creditinfocenter.com/cred...t_agency.shtml |

You can search by name, phone or even URL. I didn't come up with anything on the freecreditreport.com but there's another one; consumerinfo.com and it showed their rating as an "F" (and that's not 'fantastic'). Anyway, if they have any information, it will show ya. Also, under a new federal law, you may have the right to receive a free copy of your credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies. To request your free annual report under that law, you must go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com or call 1-877-322-8228. Hope this helps, too. Just some suggestions |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | polo- remember you can get better credit by having a card and NOT using it. if you have never lived on a budget- start now! learn how before you get married. trust me! |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | Good for you for the 'bad credit.' My son was in the same position, never had any credit, even though he did have his car loan at the age of 16, in his name, and paid it timely and off ahead of time. Amazing how one doesn't get rewarded for not being "in the system." Just doesn't seem right does it. |
