Hey Bro it's good to see you again too. Looks like we both jumped back on the sober wagon around the same time. So we have about the same amount of time being sober this go around.

Man, I remember the last time I fell off that wagon, it was a long ways to the ground and the ground was rock hard. I sure wanted to kick myself and then go find a rock to crawl under. The way I felt after letting down God, family, friends and myself.

There have been a couple of times I felt like hitting that bottle and man did I get close, I really had to lean on God for His strength because I know I could not do it on my own that's for sure. He reminded me of how I felt the last time I did fall and He helped me get through it.

So far it's only been two real incidents, I'm sure Satan will try and get in there and make me think I need it or make little things into bigger ones in my mind. But I can always rely on God to get me through it.

For me, remembering how I felt after I did fall off that wagon was a major help in keeping me from falling these last couple of times, but the real reason was Him, He let me use His strength to get through it. All I had to do was to remember to ask Him.

Stay strong bro, hang in there and know we are here for you, and your here for us.

By the way, congrats on the new baby, that's AWESOME!

Hey brother...I know I'm late on this post and I pray you are doing well!! I can relate...I'm a recovering drug addict (2 years clean!) after 25 years of abuse. I know for me that my addiction is how satan seperates me from the Lord...but remember bro...you're washed white by the blood...you're a child of God...you have been bought and paid for and are a NEW creature in Christ...put on the armor bro and Jesus will protect you!!

PS...it helps me to say out loud.."get behind me satan...I rebuke you in the name of Jesus"...he has no power over that glorious name!!

I'll be praying for you my friend!!
