Surviving

Well, just an update. I'm surving, but almost barely some days. I'm trying to make sure that I work enough between my two jobs to support Emily and myself, pay off my bills and rent, and live. I'm doing this so that Emily can spend her money on school bills. After December, I don't know if I will have two jobs, or just one. It depends on UPS and whether or not they want to keep me. I have to work harder there. But we're making it. Prayers are appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear of the troubles, Nathan, though I am very glad to hear that you are "surviving!"

However, don't just seek to survive, or to get by in these tight situations, but instead trust in the Lord. That may bring the accusation, "Easier said than done," but, Brother, I know what it's like and completely understand what is going on in your own life. I tell you the truth, Trusting the Lord is easier than just surviving and making it by in life. You'll get so stressed out that you will find yourself having a hard time doing anything at all, even those things which are easy parts of your job. However, if you trust in the Lord and simply say, "Whatever happens, Lord, I know You will take care of me" and you mean it, to the point that if something looks bad you simply say, "Oh Well, God can handle it, and if He doesn't fix it, then He's got something better that will come out of this!"

I know you know much of this already, brother, but it's good to have a reminder every now and then, right?

It's good to hear from you, though, Nathan! I hope to see you around the boards more often! I'm praying for you and Emily both. God Bless you mightily!

Father God, I just agree with this body for prayer for Jack. Lord, You know all the needs there. I ask that You meet and exceed them, blessing them richly. I thank You in advance for answered prayer. Amen
