The TAPESTRY of Me

So many have been feeling disheartened, away from God for a bit, and wondering what is going on. I'm a true believer we each have these times, perhaps some more than others, and this is a time where He will rebuild, renew and give further blessings to us. I came across this writing this past week and hope it inspires, blesses and encourages you as it has me.

The Tapestry of Me

I am but a tapestry, a vision of my maker
Free agency gives choices be it boss, mom or baker
Every experience that I face in life
Adds to my essence, both the joy and the strife
At times becoming unraveled, ragged at the edge
Then Gods send in the healing,from the depths to be dredged
Each thread of my presence, a unique destiny
Recognition and awareness to create my legacy
Fulfilling the purpose and reason I came here
Leaving behind niches that won't ever disappear
The memories created, one stitch at a time
As my tapestry evolves and expectations start to climb
Of how to make a difference with the lives that I touch
With prayer and cognition of how it matters much
The positive effect of being honest and sincere
Learning to survive and conquer without fear
Temptations that present and try to pull a thread
These challenges continue until the point where I am dead
The mission I was given, the tapestry created
Followed me from heaven, long ago predestinated
To teach, to reach, to enrich embracing moments I am given
A destiny of valor until once again in heaven
safe in His embrace
To resume my predestined place
Satan is defeated
and my tapestry is completed
