Default Bed of ease or bloody seas?
As I was doing my devotional I came across this poem. I thought I would share it here.

We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
—Ephesians 2:10

Must I be carried to the skies
On flowery beds of ease,
While others fought to win the prize
And sailed through bloody seas? —Watts


We are not saved by good works but for good works.

We had a time at church where we did a full church study including memorizing this awesome verse. Thanks for reminding me since it is a substantial one of Christian life and living it!

Amen, that poem reminds me so much about Hebrews 12:3-4 "For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin."

Amen, sister, with both the scripture and the poem, thanks for sharing it!
