Default What Kind Of Vacation Do You Prefer?
Well, it is vacation time for many people. I know most take them during the summer months when children are off from school. We also take in winter for snowmobiling and such? What do you look for when planning your time off?

Vacation? What is this vacation everyone keeps talking about?!

I've never been able to go on vacation. Not as a kid growing up, and definitely not now. Though, a vacation I'd love to take, would be one where I can generally relax and enjoy without being so busy and rushing . . . and one where I don't have to take a vacation from the vacation!

I would love to take off work for a month and just start driving across country and stopping whereever, no time restraints, so real schedule. To me this would be awesome.

My second choice for a vaction, would be a 2 week cruise. We did one of those disney vacations, 3 days at the park and 4 days on a criuse. My wife wants to spend a whole week at the park, and I would prefer to spend at least a week on the cruise. I would enjoy it even more now, because I know more about them, . Like most things, the first time is a learning experience and you enjoy it more the next time.

This year I am taking September off work (all of it...yippee) and we are going down to Cornwall to mooch (not for al of it though). We shall do some walking to enjoy the scenery, fossil hunting on the beaches, exploring castles and ruins and do some shopping in the small seaside towns.

I'm not heading off abroad this year but in the past five years I have been to Italy (three times), Switzerland (twice) and in the UK to Yorkshire, London, Devon and Dorset.

It is an advantage, Italy is only three hours away, to fly to the States it's eight hours by the quickest route (to Florida) much longer for anything further north and west. Australia is over 24 hours flying whichever way round you fly.
