Default Whew!

Well after being gone for about 10 or so days, I'm back

Didja miss me???

What?! . . . . YES I WAS GONE!!

Well, it's another update thread here.

I had house-sat for my aunt, as is the yearly . . . tradition I guess. They like going on vacation so I always watch their house and pets for them. Anyway this past week has been, well . . . to say hectic would be a major . . . underestimation?

Starting immediately Saturday before sunrise, one of the youth (15 years old) ran away with a 24 year old man saying they loved each other. Her mom caught the man hiding under her bed at 5am, then ran away, and so the mom ran over to my house and I received the call to rush over there (I was at the other house). So Saturday was spent calling the church the man went to, calling the police, calling Myspace (they have profiles there and I was making sure to cover all bases in finding this out. Then visiting the man's mom (he lives with his mom, brother, and two co-workers). I talked and helped her out with setting up and viewing all the phone calls he made. Then we called each of those he called during that morning and after he and she ran away. Talked with the other people living in the house who claimed at first they knew nothing about their whereabouts. Then letting them know his "girlfriend" was 15 I could tell they knew more than they were saying. They thought she was 18 aparently.

Anywho, God finally worked things out and I got a call from the girl and went and picked her up and brought her home after a long talk with her, the man, and the man's brother (who helped them). They both have legal repercussions now, consequences of their actions. The girl spent a week in a mental institution because she was given medication by the man (overdosing a prescription) and then when she got home she took 6 tylenol. She was fine, but they kept her in a hospital nonetheless. The man (who was a drug addict once before but started going to a church and got help) is also going away for a year to a rehab unit. The girl is out and has a court date coming up. She has her head on straight again though and realizes her wrong and has repented.

Yet that is but one part of my week haha The start of my week . . .

Without going into each thing that went on, the week ended with getting another call early in the morning concerning my sister and her husband Friday. Well needless to say I took my sister with me and the pastor and I sat and talked with her a little bit. She and the kids moved in (spent the day packing their things and moving them in with us Friday). So my sister and her kids are living with us again. I pray it goes okay, as the past has shown . . . well different.

I was joking with my mom and Kent (stepfather) saying, "What, I leave the house for a week and all heck breaks loose?" Joking like how parents say things like "I can't leave you alone for a second can I?" Mostly because while I was away, most of the problems required me going back home to deal with them.

But the good thing is that God has truly blessed me greatly and I truly am being held by the Lord.
I also finally finished dealing with some files I've been messing with for a good while (much longer than I should have taken). I finally went through and put about 2,000 excell files into Word. Fun Fun haha. Then I finally am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel concerning some computer problems I've been having. Hopefully that'll be fixed up soon too!

So how was everyone else's week? Did y'all have an exciting one like mine? Lol

Well an update on the computer troubles . . .

My space problems are over for now. I was running out of space on my hard drive so I upgraded to a 320gig hard drive. I now have . . . I think around 230gigs free!

However, the problem with windows failing to start every now and then, is still happening. I thought it might've been a problem with my hdd or something like it starting to go out on me. But . . . it already happened (first time I booted it up with the new Hard drive actually). So, if it happens yet again, I'll have to say it's a problem with my computer itself and I hope and pray that it isn't!

Well . . . so, what's been going down with everyone else?!

Wow what a time you've had, and YES you were missed!! Praying for all that was shared with needs of your loved ones, praising the good parts too, and also for the computer issues. Isn't wonderful knowing though that through every thing, both positive and negative, He reigns in it all!

THOT FOR YOU - Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God's grace, AND your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God's grace.
