awesome! i play soccer too. Played in high school for 4 years and then college for another 4. Currently i only play in a local soccer league because i dont have as much free time as I used to lol

Nice to see this thread re-energized especially in the financial times we're in. This last year has been so trying for us since hubby was laid off for over 10 months which was half our budget with the lousy unemployment benefits WI has. Soooo we had to get creative, movie nights/borrowing DVDs from others to do, bike riding, walking, going fishing. Things that we always loved to do anyway but just didn't take the time to do. It has been a blessing on the refocus and actually spending time with each other in a more meaningful way. Technology has its place but you can sit in the same room and still be strangers!

I've always loved playing Soccer and Baseball . . . but only among friends and not recreationally or in school growing up. So I actually hardly ever got the chance to!

But, what I do that is cheap or free in my spare time and everything? . . . Well there are tons of things actually. I usually am always on the computer either getting things done, replying to people, emailing, etc. But if not, then I'm reading the Word of God, or doing work outside or inside the house . . . But I think that's not spare time, is it lol

I have a PS3, but don't get on it too often due to lack of time or when I get on it, it actually feels like work to me!

I actually grew up always being told if I'm not busy then I'm being lazy. So I guess that's developed into a problem where I hardly take time to just have fun or something. Something I do most in my REAL spare time, is actually pray and rest in God's Presence. I want to do that so much more, but many Times God asks why I don't just rest in Him . . .

I enjoy playing soccer quiet a bit, it keeps me in shape and healthy. I dont have as much time as I used to. I also have an Xbox, but is now officially just collecting dust. I dont even play anymore..
