We seriously need to pray that God put the right one in office!
Every time I think of the government and such, it reminds me of 1 Kings 13, when the prophet went to the king and spoke against him. When the king heard that, he tried to lay hold of the prophet and get others to basically arrest him, and the moment that happened, his hand withered up. The king then realized he was messing with someone with God's backing, and asked the prophet to pray for his hand to be restored . . .
Can you just imagine, a prophet going to the Senate or the White House, or standing before all these people in charge in the government, and rebuking them for their actions against God, and warning them of what will happen if they continue to turn this nation agianst God . . . and when they try to arrest or detain him/her, their hand shrivels and they TRULY REALIZE that they are messing with the wrong one: GOD . . . and it brings them to repent? Just imagine that . . . wow, this nations needs a reminder of who God is, that is for sure! Not just in power like above, but also in restoration and love!
These people in government, across the world, need to realize they're not just responsible to the people, but GOD HIMSELF, the One who let them get in the position they are in to begin with!
