As I am going through some of my files, re-reading some of them, this one jumped out at me. In a day and age, where church has seemed to lost some of the importance it once had, we all need to pray that our world will wake up and start serving God more. We do serve an awesome God.

Church is an awesome place. One thought that popped into my head, is "inflict the comfortable and comfort the inflicted" sounds funny at first till you get to thinking about it. Church should be a "comfort zone" for those that are struggling and an "uncomfortable zone" for those to stuck on themselves and think that they are too good to have problems.

There's a revival this Sunday-Wednesday at my church. A brother of ours is visiting with us again (he's from Africa) and this reminds me of how this morning my mom told me "I am not looking forward to the next 4 days!" I didn't know why so I asked, and she reminded me of the revival. She works the sound equipment, and she doesn't like getting out of the house, so that's why she doesn't like these multiple days at church. I told her that I couldn't wait for it, I was excited! I mean, I have to teach, and make sure everything is taken care of and prepared for each service, and all sorts of things that is work at church, but honestly I absolutely love it! I work for God, and because I work for Him and see it that way only, there is such rest and enjoyment in it!

I go to church not really to be blessed, but to Bless God, and BE a blessing to others! Therefore, church is great!

Would love to come to the revival, but too far to drive, especially since I have to work through wednesday.
